Date of Death: Killed in Action on 25 April 1915


Family history: He lived with his aunt at 39 Calendar View, Laurieston. His father, a widow, resided at 89 Grahamsdyke Street, Laurieston with his four other sons and daughter. Edward was employed at the Caledonian Railway Company at Grangemouth and he enlisted in the Territorials on 4 July 1914. He arrived in France with the Battalion on 15 December 1914.
