This British concrete shelter is located to the west of Ploegsteert, on the right hand side of the road on the way out of the town, on the Rue de Romarin.

This concrete shelter is marked on trench maps as being next to a light railway, it was one of three marked on the map at that location.

The shelter was probably used to store ammunition and stores for the artillery batteries located in this area.
