The site was launched at the beginning of February 2021, To date, items have been posted to a limited number of sections, Currently, items are being posted to the Cemeteries and Memorials section.
Roll of Honour
The Laurieston and Muiravonside sections are now up to date and complete. Falkirk, Bainsford & Camelon, have a number of posts, these are being updated alphabetically and more will be uploaded in the coming weeks. Carron, Stenhousemuir and Larbert, currently has one post and more will be added.
Cemeteries and Memorials
This section of the site is currently being updated.
This section provides information about the cemeteries where the men of Falkirk and District are buried or the memorials on which they are commemorated. You will find a list of the Falkirk and District men who are buried in each cemetery or commemorated on a particular memorial. You will also find information on other high profile individuals who are either buried in that cemetery or commemorated on the memorial. For example, Captain Noel Chavasse in Brandhoek New Military Cemetery.
