This research covers the Ypres Salient and the men who have links to the towns and villages of Falkirk District. Many emigrated and fought with the Australian, New Zealand, and Canadian forces in the Ypres Salient. Others moved to other areas of Scotland or the UK. The biography for each man is headed by their name as it appears on the War Memorial and where the inscription spelling has been found to be wrong the correct spelling has been used. Each biography contains a photograph, if known, full name, service number, battalion information, date of birth, location of burial/commemorated and family history that also contains, where known, their address and other relevant personal information. There is also a description of the action leading to their death.
